With the recent migration of the forum to a new server some settings were left out. This has caused the forum internal email function to not work and therefore some new users couldn't activate their accounts. The problem has now been fixed and if you are somehow reading this post on the blog, do please re-register yourself again. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Hey guys! Just a note that the club forum is back up and running. So sorry for the 1 plus week of downtime as we had to move the forum due to a security breach in the previous host. NEW USERS REGISTRATION

Bimmersclub is open to all (not you spam-bots!) but due to the massive wave of spam-bots registering into the forum, it almost impossible for the moderators to approve the accounts. As a result of that, we need to purge some users and while the new application for the forum is now LIVE, we hope that the registration of these spam-bots will be reduced significantly.

However, we seek your understanding of that matter and;

1. If your account has not been activated, please send an email to bimmersclub.my@gmail.com and we will attend to your account immediately;
2. Should your account be deleted due to suspected spam, I sincerely apologize (Teh Tarik on me.... when you attend our Friday TT) and please register again.

WE ARE LIVE!

The move to the new server is successful! But there are more work to be done... while I did managed to maintain the look and feel of the original forum, the work for a new look and feel will soon take place!

Time Flies and Bimmersclub forum is turning 3 years old and for the past 2 years, this version of forum has served us well and on behalf of all members in Bimmersclub, we would like to extend our gratitude and sincere thanks to a Stenly for his hardwork and dedication in giving life to Bimmersclub’s forum, nurturing it to its present form.

While most of us are pleasantly comfortable with the forum application, there is a need to upgrade to cater for the ever demanding need of technological advancement; for example, posting youtube videos on forums, spam and security control, posting images as attachment and etc.

This change is inevitable and with that, I am proud to annouce that we are in the final stage upgrading of our forum to bring a new level of experience to all members; at no extra cost but just the spirit of friendship, togetherness and love for motorsports.

The upgrade is expected to take place between Friday, 9 April 2010 until Sunday, 10 April 2010 and we seek your patience as the forum will not be accessible. Meanwhile, the updates will be made available at bimmersclub.blogspot.com and TT on Friday is business as usual and we hope to see you there.
